Israel intensifies strikes on South Lebanon and Hezbollah hits 7 soldiers with swooping drones

Khaberni   - The Israeli army announced the execution of a series of attacks targeting more than 15 locations in South Lebanon, which it said were affiliated with Hezbollah, while reporting that 7 of its soldiers were wounded by drone attacks carried out by the group in the last hours.

The army detailed in a statement that the raids conducted yesterday Wednesday and during the night hours of today Thursday included infrastructure, which it said members of the group use to carry out operations against its forces and against Israel, pointing out that rocket launch platforms used for attacks on its territory were destroyed.

The Israeli army's statement further reported that the raids included targeting weapons storage facilities, manufacturing sites, command centers, and rocket launch platforms.

The Israeli Army Radio reported that the air force executed, this morning, raids targeting locations in the city of Nabatieh, in the first attack of its kind on the area in weeks, as part of an expansion of operations.

Operationally, Israeli aircraft carried out air strikes on the towns of Tulin and Harouf in South Lebanon, as part of a continuous series of strikes in the region, according to Al Jazeera.

Despite a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah since April 17, with an extension after direct talks that brought together the ambassadors of Lebanon and Israel in Washington, the occupation army continues its attacks on Lebanon, especially the south, causing fatalities and injuries.

On the other hand, Hezbollah announced on Thursday morning the execution of a targeting operation against an Israeli military bulldozer, detailing in a statement that its fighters attacked a model "D-9" bulldozer in the Khallet al-Raaj area near the town of Deir Sirian using a swooping drone, confirming a direct hit.

Israeli media outlets also reported 7 soldiers injured due to attacks with drones carried out by Hezbollah during the last 24 hours, while the army announced 4 soldiers wounded, one critically, in a drone attack yesterday Wednesday in South Lebanon.

The army also confirmed its forces being targeted with rockets from South Lebanon in the recent hours, indicating they fell near the forces without recording injuries.

In recent days, Hezbollah has intensified the release of footage showing the targeting of Israeli military vehicles in various southern areas. In consecutive statements, Hezbollah confirms that these attacks are a "defense of Lebanon and its people" amidst the ongoing Israeli aggression on the country.
