Judicial Enforcement Invites Pilgrims to Verify Their Legal Status Before Departure

Khaberni - Director of the Judicial Enforcement Department at the Public Security Directorate, Brigadier Firas Al-Rasheed, confirmed the department's readiness to provide full facilitation for the pilgrims of the Holy House of Allah, in implementation of the directives of the General Security Director, Major General Dr. Obeidallah Al-Maaytah, to ensure that no barriers or annoyances experienced in the past pilgrimage seasons are repeated.

Al-Rasheed said that the Public Security Directorate has developed a comprehensive plan in cooperation with various departments and security units, to ensure the smooth and safe trips of pilgrims, pointing out that the Judicial Enforcement Department had started coordinating with the Ministry of Awqaf early on to obtain preliminary lists of pilgrims and review them, where a limited number of pilgrims who had legal obligations or issues were contacted and were able to resolve them before the departure date.

He explained that the department has launched, in cooperation with the security media, an awareness video inviting pilgrims to verify their legal status before the departure date, either through the "Sanad" application or via the department's toll-free hotline, confirming the possibility for citizens to access case details and required procedures using their national number and date of birth.

Al-Rasheed noted that the preemptive measures also include drivers, companions, and accompanying administrative staff of pilgrims, to avoid any delay that could be caused by the presence of a person judicially needed within the trips, confirming the importance of personal daily follow-up by pilgrims until the travel date.

He indicated that the department will continue verification processes and follow-ups until the departure of the first batch of pilgrims, calling on citizens to seriously deal with any text messages they receive from the Judicial Enforcement Department named "PSD Enforcement", and to quickly address any legal notes.

Al-Rasheed confirmed that coordination would be instantaneous between the border centers, the Judicial Enforcement Department, and the relevant judicial authorities, enabling the provision of maximum possible facilitations without infringing upon the rights of others, and highlighted the placing of liaison officers in the border centers to expedite procedures and handle any developments.

He indicated that the Public Security Directorate's plan is not limited to the Judicial Enforcement Department alone, but includes also the Departments of Residency and Borders, the Highway Patrols, Police Directorates, Civil Defense, and Traffic, as part of a comprehensive security plan aimed at ensuring a safe and facilitated pilgrimage journey for all pilgrims.
