Jordanian entered hospital for treatment and came out unable to close his eye for a year and a half

Khaberni - Citizen Abdullah said he was involved in a car accident on the Amman-Zarqa road; he suffered a wound above his eye and was taken to Zarqa Government Hospital.

He added in his speech on Hayat FM radio that the medical staff stitched the wound above his eye, resulting in a scar resembling “a small ball”. He was given an ointment to treat it, and for a year and a half, the scar did not disappear, and he was not able to fully close his eye, even while sleeping with his eye half-open.

He mentioned that two weeks ago, he felt an inflammation in the scar, and when he consulted a private medical center, it was found that a glass piece from the accident was still inside the wound. When it was removed, his problem was resolved, and his eye returned to normal.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Saad Alamour, said that it is the citizen's right to file a complaint, and it will be presented to the concerned committee and the matter will be investigated.
