Khaberni - Kuwaiti chanter and influencer Mishary Al-Afasy congratulated Lebanese artist Fadl Shaker, following the announcement of his acquittal and release from prison.
Al-Afasy posted on platform X, saying: "Praise be to Allah, by whose grace righteous deeds are accomplished, and may Allah continue his blessings upon us and you, my friend," referring to Fadl Shaker.
He added in his post, recalling a previous statement by the Lebanese artist: "An audience that supports the criminal Syrian regime, I don't want them to love me."
Al-Afasy continued: "I agree with him, and I would add: An audience that stands with those who killed the Syrian people, I don't want them to love me."
