Khaberni - The new system amended the values of the special tax imposed on "Friday" (beer) and intoxicants, spirits, and other fermented beverages (including wines) in Jordan based on the alcohol content per liter, according to the following table:
Beer with an alcohol content of up to 10%: special tax of 1250 fils per liter.
Beer with an alcohol content of more than 10% and not exceeding 20%: special tax of 3000 fils per liter.
Beer with an alcohol content of more than 20%: special tax of 5750 fils per liter.
Non-alcoholic beer: the special tax determined on it is (zero).
This amended system (number 20 for the year 2026) replaces the previous items in the original system number 80 of the year 2000.
