Khaberni - Brazilian Hermano da Silva Ramos, one of the oldest stars of Formula 1 racing, has died at the age of 100.
According to Autosport, Ramos was considered the oldest former living Formula 1 World Championship participant, having entered his first official race in 1955 with the Gordini team.
The Brazilian driver participated in seven World Championship races between 1955 and 1956, achieving his best result by finishing fifth in the 1956 Monaco Grand Prix, thus scoring two points in the overall standings.
His last appearance was in the 1956 Italian Grand Prix, from which he retired due to a mechanical failure.
Ramos was also the last survivor of the famous 1955 Le Mans 24 Hours race, which witnessed one of the worst disasters in motorsports history, resulting in the death of 83 people at that time.
