Republican Representative The Epstein Case is Still Unclear

Khaberni - American Republican Representative Thomas Massie believes that the case of sexual offender Jeffrey Epstein still lacks clarity.
Representative Massie said in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson that the most important category of materials related to the Epstein case are those still classified as "confidential".
He added: "It doesn't matter whether there are three million files or three hundred, they all must be published."

The representative explained that among these documents are internal memos from agencies concerning how decisions were made to conduct or not conduct investigations in the framework of the Epstein case.

The Republican continued: "At this time, the Attorney General refers to what is called the deliberative process privilege. This privilege is used when it is intended to prevent the disclosure of documents under the Freedom of Information Act, or to edit them by concealing part of their text."

It is known that in 2019, Epstein was charged in the United States with trafficking minors for sexual exploitation, and conspiring to commit this crime. He was facing a prison sentence of more than 40 years. At the end of July 2019, Epstein was found in his cell "in a nearly unconscious state" and later died. Investigations revealed that he had committed suicide.
