Plantbased proteinrich foods reduce the risk of chronic diseases

Khaberni- A study published by the journal "Food & Function" shows that plant-based protein-rich foods reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
The study's organizers explained that these foods include legumes, grains, nuts, and seeds, which not only provide protein but also contain fiber and biologically active compounds that help regulate appetite, improve metabolism, and support gut health.

Research indicates that regularly including plant proteins in the diet reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, and chronic kidney diseases.

Scientists believe that the beneficial effects of these nutrients are due to their ability to lower harmful cholesterol, improve insulin sensitivity, and reduce inflammation.
Researchers emphasize that the greatest benefit is not in one type of food, but in following a balanced diet in general. Combining plant proteins with fiber and other nutritional components enhances health benefits and may be fundamental in preventing chronic diseases.

Legumes like chickpeas, lentils, and beans are a primary source of plant protein, while seeds such as chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, and flax seeds are rich in vitamin E, antioxidants, "Omega-3" acids, and calcium, magnesium, and iron which support immunity and improve heart and vascular health.
