Khaberni - The Islamic World Organization for Education, Science, and Culture (ISESCO) announced today, Wednesday, the victory of the representative of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan / Secretary General of the Ministry of Education for Educational Affairs, Dr. Nawaf Al-Aqil Al-Ajarmah, in the elections as president of the executive council of the organization, during the council meeting held in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.
This achievement reflects the prestigious status that Jordan enjoys at both the regional and international levels, and the high level of trust that the kingdom gains from the member states of the Islamic World Organization for Education, Science, and Culture (ISESCO).
This victory crowns a rich journey of contributions and ongoing Jordanian efforts and the active role of the kingdom in enhancing collective work under the umbrella of the organization.
This achievement also reflects the great appreciation for Jordanian competencies, and the mutual trust bestowed by the ISESCO member states on Jordanian diplomacy, confirming this trust in the pivotal role played by the kingdom under its Hashemite leadership in fostering values of dialogue, peace, and sustainable development at the level of the Islamic world.
This achievement is a result of ongoing coordination and significant support from the kingdom’s embassies in the ISESCO member states.
This victory confirms Jordan's steadfast commitment to supporting the goals of ISESCO, and its aspiration to continue joint work with the organization’s General Secretariat and the member states, contributing to achieving the aspirations of the Islamic peoples towards a brighter future in the fields of comprehensive development, knowledge, and innovation.
It is noted that the number of member states in the organization is 53 countries divided geographically into four regions (the African region, the Arab region, the Asian region, and the Latin American region).
