Khaberni - Fashion designer Ann Al-Rifai, ex-wife of artist Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, sparked widespread interaction after television statements in which she talked about women's strength and the necessity of self-reliance and financial independence, alongside direct messages about trust in relationships and taking personal responsibility.
In her appearance on the show “Al-Satat Maye'rafoush Yekdebou” aired on CBC channel, Ann Al-Rifai made several statements that drew attention, discussing the importance of women fighting for their rights and being prepared for disappointment from others around them.
Ann Al-Rifai emphasized that the real beginning of a woman's success is based on self-reliance, insisting that work and financial independence are the essential guarantees to maintain personal dignity. She added that excessive trust in others could lead to unexpected outcomes, urging women not to give complete trust without awareness.
In her message to women, she said: “Rely on yourself, don’t trust others too much, don’t depend on others thinking that they will do it, no, there’s none, you must work and have your own personality, and you must take your full right from life.”
It is worth mentioning that artist Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz officially announced his divorce from his former wife and the mother of his daughters, Ann Al-Rifai, via his official Instagram account.
Karim wrote using the “Story” feature: “Divorce is ordained by God.. I have all the respect and appreciation for the mother of my daughters, no matter what happens she will remain the mother of my daughters and I am their father, we tried many years to continue life and failed, and this does not mean that there is anything wrong with any of us, but many relationships end because God decrees so, and they end with mutual respect and love between both parties.”
Ann Al-Rifai is a fashion designer and businesswoman in the fashion industry, daughter of businessman Magdi Al-Rifai, and does not belong to the artistic milieu. She has three daughters from artist Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz: Kinda, Khadija, and Habiba.
