Khaberni - American President Donald Trump said that the transfer of enriched uranium in Iran's possession to the United States is a condition for any future agreement between the two parties.
In an interview with PBS, the American president was asked to comment on reports that Iran “might” transfer highly enriched uranium to the United States under the terms of a future agreement.
Trump replied, "The (Iranian enriched uranium) will head to the United States."
The American president added that Iran will also need to give up the use of infrastructure for nuclear material enrichment for a long duration.
Earlier, the American site "Axios" revealed that the United States and Iran are on the verge of signing a one-page memorandum to end the conflict.
The site mentioned, quoting American officials and two other sources familiar with the negotiations, that the White House believes it is close to reaching an agreement with Iran on a one-page memorandum of understanding to end the war and establish a framework for more detailed nuclear negotiations.
It added that the United States expects Iran to respond to the key points of the potential agreement within 48 hours.
Axios confirmed that no final agreement has been reached yet, but sources pointed out that this is the closest point the parties have reached to an agreement since the beginning of the war.
