A significant user traffic on the Jordanian Football Association’s ticket website caused a site breakdown just before the tickets were released for the league finale between Al-Hussein Irbid and Al-Faisaly in Irbid on Friday.
As the tickets were expected to be released within minutes, the high traffic led to a website crash (504 Gateway Time-out), which indicates overwhelming traffic on the site and the server's inability to process requests at a specific time, according to programmers.
On Friday, all eyes will turn to the city of Irbid to watch the league’s finale between Al-Hussein Irbid and Al-Faisaly, which will determine the champion of the 2025/2026 season, held for the first time in three stages. Al-Faisaly must win the match to claim their 36th league title, while the reigning champions, Al-Hussein Irbid, only need a draw to secure the championship for the third consecutive time.
