AlAhliyya Amman University Organizes a Field Trip for Automotive Engineering Students and Holds Guidance Seminars for Vocationa

Khaberni - In its quest to enhance integration between the academic and practical aspects, and as part of its efforts to network with the industrial sector and meet the requirements of Pearson BTEC, the Technical Education College at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a field trip for students specializing in automotive engineering to Bestinji Motors. The trip aimed to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications in the workplace. 
The visit was prepared and coordinated by Engineer Saif al-Bestinji, and supervised by the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor Anas Al-Dhahir, with support from faculty members in the department, reflecting the college's commitment to providing a comprehensive practical educational experience. 
During the visit, students explored the work environment within specialized maintenance workshops. They learned about work mechanisms and procedures followed in vehicle maintenance, and gained insights into diagnostic operations and their repair using modern professional techniques. 
Students were also introduced to occupational safety standards and risk assessment procedures within the workshops, emphasizing the importance of compliance to ensure a safe working environment, alongside exposure to sustainability practices and recycling of waste produced by maintenance works.
 The visit gave students the opportunity to interact directly with industry specialists and learn about the latest professional practices, thus enhancing their practical skills and technical understanding. This visit is part of the efforts of the Technical Education College at Al-Ahliyya Amman University to enhance partnership with the industrial sector and equip students with the practical experiences needed to efficiently enter the job market.
On another note, the college took part in a series of introductory and guidance seminars for vocational high school students, as part of the "Training for Employment" program, in collaboration with the Directorate of Education in Al-Salt. This is within the framework of its ongoing efforts to support technical education and raise awareness about future specialties needed in the job market. 
The participation included presenting (6) specialized seminars in the fields of IT, electric vehicle technology, electrical engineering, targeted at a number of vocational schools for boys and girls, led by Engineer Rawan Al-Majdubah, Engineer Saif al-Bestinji, Engineer Rashed Abu Hamour, Engineer Marwa Taheineh, Teacher Mu'tasim al-Tamimi, and Teacher Mo'ataz Makhateh, under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Department Head of Preparatory Material, Professor Anas Al-Dhahir. 
These seminars aimed to introduce students to modern technical specialties and their importance, highlight future opportunities associated with them, and showcase the academic and professional paths offered by the college, which contributes to directing students towards specialties that meet the needs of the job market.
