Tehran warns Abu Dhabi

Khaberni - Iran has warned of the consequences of continuing what it described as subversive actions by Abu Dhabi, including the continued hosting of US bases, considering it a threat to peace and stability in the region.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry, in a statement, denounced what it described as "the subversive actions of the rulers of Abu Dhabi in their collusion with parties hostile to the Islamic Republic of Iran, including their continued hosting of bases and military equipment for those parties," warning of "the grave consequences of this situation on peace and regional stability."

The Ministry confirmed that Iran will not hesitate to take necessary and appropriate measures to defend its interests and national security. The Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters confirmed that the Iranian forces had not carried out any missile operations or drone attacks against the UAE in the past few days.

The headquarters noted that the report from the UAE Ministry of Defense is "completely rejected and baseless," pointing out that "creating crises and tarnishing the reputation of the oppressed will not solve the problem, but will negatively affect the international climate." It added that Iran "has so far refrained from creating crises and assisting the enemies of the Islamic nation and Iran, out of its care for the security of its Muslim brethren."

The UAE announced that on May 4 and 5, it was subjected to attacks with missiles and drones, in the first targeting since the ceasefire on April 8. Abu Dhabi said its defenses repelled the attacks, while it said a drone attack targeted the Fujairah area for oil industries, leading to a fire and injuring three people. The UAE authorities also imposed temporary restrictions on some air routes until May 11, as part of precautionary security measures.
