North Korea Removes Unification Clause with South from Its Constitution

Khaberni - North Korea has removed references to unification with South Korea from its constitution, according to a document reviewed by the AFP agency on Wednesday, confirming Pyongyang's pursuit of adopting a more hostile policy towards Seoul.

A phrase stating that North Korea "strives hard to achieve national unification" was also deleted from the latest version of the constitution, which was published by South Korea's Ministry of Unification during a press conference.
