Khaberni - The staff of Greater Irbid Municipality, in cooperation with the Food and Drug Corporation and the Royal Environmental Protection Administration, destroyed about 3.5 tons of dates unfit for consumption.
The chairman of the municipal committee, Imad Al-Azzam, said that the operation comes as part of ongoing monitoring campaigns to ensure food safety in the markets, stressing that there will be no tolerance for any violations that affect the health of citizens, and that the surprise inspection rounds on establishments will continue.
