Khaberni - The Egyptian Drug Authority issued an urgent warning regarding one of the batches of Flumox 1000 mg, which is a very famous and commonly used drug in Egyptian pharmacies for treating various infections.
The authority clarified that batch number 2410995 was found to not meet the standard specifications, although its expiration date is listed as December 2027, demanding an immediate halt in the distribution of this batch and the seizure and withdrawal of any quantities on the market.
Flumox is a widely used antibiotic that doctors frequently prescribe for treating throat and tonsil infections, sinus infections, bronchial and chest infections, urinary tract infections, and some skin infections, and contains a mixture of active substances that help eliminate the bacteria causing the infections.

The Egyptian Drug Authority advises that if any patient has a package of Flumox 1000 bearing the number 2410995, it "should not be used", and they should return it to the pharmacy or contact the Drug Authority.
