In the midst of the controversy, the Syndicate of Artists of Syria intervened, denying through its official Facebook page the validity of the rumor, confirming that Atta Allah is alive and in good health, and is not undergoing any critical condition, which helped calm the anxiety and reset the narrative being circulated.
The syndicate emphasized in its statement the danger of spreading inaccurate news, especially those related to people's lives, due to the psychological and moral effects on the artist and his family, as well as their impact in causing confusion among the audience, according to the statement.
The statement pointed out that the recurrence of death rumors reveals flaws in the mechanisms of verification and circulation of information, with the growing phenomenon of chasing interactions and views at the expense of credibility, confirming that it is the exclusively authorized entity to issue any information concerning Syrian artists, and that anything not issued by it is merely a rumor.
According to Syrian media sources, Atta Allah's absence from last Ramadan's drama season and his long absence from media appearances contributed to the spread of the death rumor.
The same sources clarified that he is not sick as rumored, and that his last participation was in the series "The Covenant" in the year 2025, after appearing in the series "Al Zand: Wolf of the Assi" in 2023 alongside Taim Hassan.
