The young artist Irina Yousri revealed that she has been directly threatened and continuously stalked by an unknown person, confirming that her life is now in danger, through a lengthy post on her Instagram account, in which she urged for immediate intervention to ensure her safety.
She explained that the incident began when she won a beauty pageant title and participated in her first acting experience, where a person named “Bilal” began following her on social media, leaving comments she described as odd, reflecting a delusional state; believing there was a romantic relationship between them, inspired by one of her art works.
She noted that she initially treated these actions as a type of fleeting admiration, but the situation later evolved to reveal disturbing behavior that crossed usual boundaries. She also highlighted that it was not limited to online stalking, but escalated to physically shadowing her movements, where he would suddenly appear before her, holding a ring, claiming it was “their wedding ring,” which might seem comically absurd but actually entailed a real threat.
She added that she documented these incidents through video recordings and screenshots, including admissions of stalking her, along with explicit threats to anyone approaching her, rising to the level of threatening murder.
She revealed that her personal driver was physically assaulted by the same individual, who then fled when an attempt was made to contact the police, increasing the danger of the situation. She reported suffering from fainting spells due to extreme fear upon seeing him, especially since he quickly disappears as soon as bystanders gather, complicating the process of his arrest.
She explained that the harassment extended to her personal and professional environment, where he frequented her workplaces in clinics and hospitals, causing embarrassing situations and repeated problems.
She added that he contacted several of her friends via messages, asking for information about anyone showing interest in her, threatening to harm them, which incited fear among her close ones, leading some to avoid accompanying her, while her driver quit his job with her after being assaulted.
She concluded her message by emphasizing that she is no longer able to tolerate these conditions after months of continuous concern, stating that she can no longer conduct her daily life or go to her job without fear, and calling for urgent intervention before the situation worsens.
