Thai Kingdoms Ambassador Visits Luminous Technical University College

Khaberni - Her Excellency Ms. Jirapon Jirampaikool  (Jirapon Jirampaikool), Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, visited today Luminous Technical University College, accompanied by a delegation from the embassy, where they were welcomed by the college's dean Dr. Mohammad Abu Qudais.

During the visit, Her Excellency listened to a brief presentation about the academic and applied programs offered by the college, and the role it plays in preparing qualified cadres that meet the needs of the local and regional job market.

During the tour of the college's facilities, which was accompanied by the Vice Dean Dr. Rifat Abdul Rahman and the Business Development Manager Mr. Dhargham Al-Saudi, Her Excellency familiarized herself with the college's applied educational environment, which focuses on developing students' practical skills, enhancing their readiness to directly integrate into the job market.

Her Excellency began her visit with a tour in the laboratories of the Department of Arts and Sciences of Cosmetology - Laval, where she met several female students of the department and learned about the nature of the practical training provided to them. She also visited the Abd Al Aziz Al Ghurair Department of Advanced Computing, which is equipped with the latest technologies, and offers distinguished bachelor's programs in Cloud Computing, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, which are considered among the leading programs in the region.

The visit also included the Automotive Technology Department, which offers bachelor's and international diploma programs in Automotive Technology Engineering, and is one of the first specialized programs of its kind in the region, in addition to the Creative Media Department, where Her Excellency explored the studios and advanced facilities that support student training.

Her Excellency the Ambassador concluded her tour with a visit to the Department of Hospitality and Tourism, which is one of the largest specialized departments in the kingdom, designed according to hotel standards mimicking five-star hotels, and includes modern teaching kitchens, a training restaurant, and comprehensive facilities for teaching hospitality and hotel management skills.

At the end of her visit, Her Excellency expressed her admiration for the advanced level the college has reached, and for the applied approach it follows in training students, praising the quality of the programs and educational infrastructure, and the environment it provides that is conducive to innovation and practical learning.
