College of Information Technology at Arab Amman University Conducts Scientific Visit to Enhance School Students Skills in Robot

Khaberni - Stemming from the mission of Arab Amman University in serving the local community and enhancing its leading role in the fields of modern technology, the College of Information Technology at the university organized a field scientific visit to Zaid bin Haritha Secondary School for Boys in the university district, supervised by Dr. Magdi Salama, a faculty member at the college, within the framework of the partnership with "Creativity" Association to organize a robotics competition for schools, aimed at developing students' skills in programming and creative thinking, and encouraging them to innovate and use modern technologies in problem-solving.

The reception was attended by the school principal, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Adwan, along with several teachers and administrators, who emphasized the importance of this visit in developing the educational environment and promoting a culture of creativity and innovation among students. The visit aimed to organize and arrange practical training workshops targeting students and teachers, contributing to their qualification and encouraging their active participation in the robotics competition for schools, which will be held under the sponsorship of Arab Amman University. During the visit, Dr. Magdi Salama reviewed the students' readiness and the training mechanisms followed, praising the efforts made by the educational and administrative staff in developing students' skills in robotics and enhancing creative thinking, reflecting the school's commitment to keeping up with modern technological developments.

In this regard, Dr. Rami Sahweil, Dean of the College of Information Technology at Arab Amman University, affirmed the importance of these initiatives in enhancing the integration between educational institutions, and their role in developing students' skills in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence, contributing to preparing a creative generation capable of keeping up with the requirements of the era and the rapid technological developments. This visit is part of the university's commitment to supporting applied education and enhancing its connection to the needs of the community, alongside enabling students to keep up with the rapid developments in the fields of artificial intelligence and modern technology, and Arab Amman University confirms its continued implementation of quality initiatives that enhance the partnership with educational institutions, contributing to building the capabilities of students and developing their technical skills, serving the local community and enhancing opportunities for innovation and competition.
