Zain Replit and Tamatem invite developers to register for the Prompt and Play Hackathon

Khaberni  -  Zain Creativity Platform (ZINC), “Replit,” and Tamatem announced the opening of registration for participation in the “Prompt and Play” hackathon, an interactive experience that brings together creators and developers to create the next generation of digital games, using artificial intelligence technologies to turn new ideas in electronic gaming into innovative gaming experiences.

The hackathon events will kick off on May 14 and will continue for three consecutive days. During this time, participants will have the opportunity to develop their ideas and transform them into testable game prototypes, relying on artificial intelligence tools and teamwork, which contributes to building "future games" more quickly and innovatively.

The program includes a series of specialized sessions covering various aspects of game development, starting with an introductory session presented by the Zain Creativity Platform (ZINC), which will review the idea of the hackathon, its main themes, the evaluation mechanism, and the schedule. The Replit team will present a “Vibe Coding” session, focusing on how to develop prototypes quickly using artificial intelligence tools, efficiently turning ideas into executable products.

Meanwhile, Tamatem will offer specialized sessions that include strategies for monetizing games through models like in-app purchases, advertising, and subscriptions, in addition to a session on user experience and interface design (UX/UI), which will highlight the fundamentals of designing engaging and user-friendly games. The hackathon will conclude with a pitching session by Zain Creativity Platform (ZINC) to help participants professionally present their ideas before the judging panel.

At the end of the hackathon, the Zain Creativity Platform (ZINC) will provide financial support for the top three places. The first place will receive JD1,500, the second place JD1,000, and the third team will receive JD500, enabling them to continue working on their projects. Replit will offer them the opportunity to use the most powerful artificial intelligence models it provides to help them build and develop their electronic games.

Zain Creativity Platform (ZINC), Replit, and Tamatem have extended an invitation through various social media platforms to all interested developers, designers, and digital content creators to register and participate in this unique experience, which represents a real opportunity for learning, skill-building, and networking with industry experts. It marks a new frontier in game production and development.
