The artist was transferred to a hospital in France to continue a treatment and rehabilitation program after experiencing a health crisis involving severe bleeding in the colon and complications that required precise medical interventions, including blood transfusions and interventional radiology procedures to stop the bleeding.
During the treatment period, his condition saw a relative improvement before he suffered a sudden relapse manifested in respiratory failure, which required placing him under intensive medical observation in the intensive care unit, amid meticulous monitoring by the treating medical team.
Earlier, the artist Nadia Mustafa clarified the details of the health condition, confirming that the crisis began due to bleeding associated with a chronic colon problem, while denying rumors that circulated on social media about the heart stopping for several minutes or inaccurate complications being discussed.
Artist Mustafa Kamel also revealed details of the condition, explaining that the artist underwent precise surgery to remove the colon and went through a resuscitation phase after a temporary stop in heart muscle activity, before his condition stabilized somewhat, then later deteriorated again during the rehabilitation phase abroad.
Social media sites have seen wide interaction from the public and his colleagues in the artistic community, who followed the developments of his health condition and prayed for his recovery, before his death was officially announced today.

The artist Hani Shaker was born on December 21, 1952, in Cairo, and is considered one of the most prominent voices in Arab music and a symbol of the golden generation of music, nicknamed "Prince of Arab Singing".
He began his artistic appearance early by participating in cinematic and musical works since the sixties of the last century, before officially launching as a singer in 1972 after being discovered by the composer Mohamed El Mougi.
Hani Shaker presented during his career more than 600 songs and about 29 albums, collaborated with leading poets and composers in Egypt and the Arab world, and achieved widespread popularity with his romantic and patriotic works.
He also participated in cinema, theater, and television, and was linked with famous works, including "Keda Bardou Ya Qamar", "The Beautiful Dream", and "Ali Al-Dahkaya".
He held the position of the head of the musicians' syndicate in Egypt for two consecutive terms in 2015 and 2019, combining artistic activity and the union role within the musical community.
