Khaberni - A person with a criminal record, on Friday, assaulted a lawyer in the province of Zarqa using a sharp object, resulting in jaw fractures and his hospitalization.
The aforementioned lawyer revealed that he had represented a client several months ago in a case against the attacker’s daughter, and that he had posed legal questions to the attacker's son within the scope of his work, and the attacker had threatened him at the time with revenge, saying "I will show you".
He explained that the attacker arrived with another person at the family home of the lawyer, created a problem, and hid behind the door before ambushing him and assaulting him, which resulted in two fractures in his jaw, necessitating his admission to the hospital for treatment, and he needs a surgery to install plates in his jaw.
He noted that the attacker threatened him in case he filed a complaint, but he did indeed file a complaint, upon which the public prosecutor of Zarqa decided to detain the attacker for investigation.
