Khaberni - The Securities Depository Center has announced the availability of a new digital feature within the "Sanad" application that enables Jordanian individuals to directly view their securities ownerships.
This feature allows users to display their ownership data in an updated and immediate manner through the "Sanad" app, without the need for any requests or additional procedures, as accessing the app is sufficient for the user to easily and securely view their ownership details.
This step comes in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, and after completing all the necessary technical and technological requirements, in the context of enhancing integration with the digital identity system and electronic verification services.
This feature contributes to enhancing the inclusivity of citizens' access to their various financial data reliably through the Sanad app interface, which primarily includes viewing details of securities ownerships deposited in the records of the Securities Depository Center, in line with national trends towards digital transformation, and enhancing the role of the Securities Depository Center as a main component in the capital market infrastructure.
Ms. Sara Al-Tarawneh, the Executive Director of the Securities Depository Center, confirmed that the availability of this feature represents an important step in enabling investors to view details of their securities ownerships deposited in the center’s records, explaining that it relies on direct linking with the database of the Securities Depository Center and integration with the digital identity system and verification services in the "Sanad" application, ensuring the highest levels of security and accuracy in data display.
She added that the center continues to develop its digital services to keep up with the best international practices, pointing out to the launch of the updated version of the "Your Electronic Wallet" application in 2024, which is considered an integrated digital platform that enables investors to follow their ownerships and view details of their accounts and the transactions executed on them, within a secure and user-friendly digital environment.
The Securities Depository Center reaffirms its ongoing commitment to developing innovative digital solutions that enhance the efficiency and transparency of the capital market in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and support the digital investor experience.
