AlMomani Allocating 2 million dinars for the maintenance of AlRamtha road in Irbid 40th Street

Khaberni - The Minister of Government Communication and government spokesperson, Mohammad Al-Momani, said that the government decided to form a committee chaired by the Minister of Transport to study the transport situation from the districts of Irbid governorate, aiming to facilitate the employees' access to the industrial and developmental cities, and that funding for the proposed solutions will be explored through investment or government sources.

Al-Momani added, during a press conference after the cabinet meeting in Irbid, that it was decided to allocate 2 million dinars for the maintenance of Al-Ramtha – 40th Street.

Al-Momani pointed out that the road infrastructure leading to the hospital will be rehabilitated and connected to the ring road, at a cost of up to 10 million dinars, to be among the toll roads.

He explained that the Prime Minister directed to study and submit the necessary recommendations for the renewal of tax and customs exemptions.

He said that the cabinet discussed a number of vital developmental projects, most notably the development of roads and infrastructure serving the new Princess Basma Hospital, and the establishment of a cancer treatment center in the hospital, alongside the completion of the ring road in the governorate.

He clarified that the second session of the cabinet in the governorate comes within the framework of following up on the implementation of the developmental vision on the ground and enhancing communication with representatives of the governorate, noting that the second phase of the sessions will focus on presenting what has been achieved during the past year, discussing challenges and priorities, and presenting visions for the upcoming phase to enhance the government decisions' connection with the needs of the governorates.
