AlZaytoonah University of Jordan participates in the 2026 National Nuclear Science Competition with an innovative scientific pr

Khaberni  - The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan participated in the exhibition and the National Nuclear Science Competition for the year 2026, which was organized by the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission, with wide participation from university students from across the kingdom.

The faculty participated through a team of its distinguished students, including Ahmed Mohammad Al-Rawashdeh, Malik Ayman Suleiman, Zaid Najeh Abu Sabbah, and Abdullah Mohammad Al-Maharmeh, where the team presented an innovative scientific project that reflected their ability to employ engineering knowledge and modern technologies in the field of peaceful applications of nuclear energy.

The project was carried out under the supervision of Dr. Ahmad Mansoura, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, and was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Youssef Jaradat, while Dr. Hisham Rabay'a from the Department of Civil Engineering and Infrastructure coordinated the participation, as part of the faculty's ongoing support for student participation in scientific and national activities.

The competition aims to promote scientific creativity among students, raise awareness of the importance of nuclear sciences and their applications in various fields, alongside encouraging innovation and presenting sustainable solutions.

The Dean of the Faculty emphasized that this participation aligns with the university's vision in developing students’ practical and research skills, and enhancing the spirit of teamwork among them, in line with modern developments in engineering education.

At the conclusion of the event, the participating students expressed their pride in representing Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, affirming that this experience provided a valuable opportunity to acquire new skills and develop their capabilities in advanced scientific fields.
