AlZaytoonah University of Jordan participates in international scientific events at SESAME Center

Khaberni  - Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan participated in the scientific events organized by SESAME, the international center for synchrotron-light for experimental science and applications in the Middle East, which lasted for three days, with the participation of a group of researchers and academics from local and international scientific institutions.

The university was represented by an academic delegation that included four faculty members from the College of Engineering and Technology and the Department of Basic Sciences, namely: Professor Dr. Youssef Mohammad Jaradat, Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Ahmad Mohammad Al-Diyabat, Head of the Department of Basic Sciences, Dr. Hisham Saleh Rabay’ah from the Department of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, and Dr. Moath Nasser Bani Salim from the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

The participation included attending the introductory lecture presented by His Excellency Dr. Khaled Toukan, which addressed the role of SESAME in supporting scientific research and enhancing regional and international cooperation, in addition to showcasing the center's latest achievements and its diverse fields of work.

The visit also witnessed discussions on ways of joint cooperation between Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan and SESAME, and explored opportunities for implementing future research projects that serve various scientific and engineering disciplines, and contribute to developing the research and innovative environment.

This participation comes as part of the university's commitment to enhancing its scientific presence in international forums, expanding its network of academic and research relations, and providing opportunities for faculty members to stay updated with the latest developments in the fields of advanced science and technology. It also reflects the university's commitment to supporting scientific research and innovation, and enhancing its role in building regional and international scientific partnerships that contribute to community service and knowledge development.
