Khaberni - The Faculty of Arts at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, in collaboration with the English Department as part of the English Corner initiative, held a screening of the English-language movie entitled The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet, which saw wide participation from university students from various faculties, supervised and organized by Dr. Maha Al-Qadi.
The event witnessed notable attendance from students of the Faculty of Arts as well as students from other faculties, as part of the university's commitment to providing interactive educational activities that contribute to developing students' linguistic and communication skills outside the classroom.
This activity was organized with the aim of enhancing dialogue and discussion skills in English, and encouraging students to use the language in various life and cultural situations, thereby contributing to improving their language proficiency and developing their confidence in using a foreign language.
Following the movie screening, a discussion session was held that addressed its themes and intellectual and human dimensions, conducted by students of the English department, with active participation from students of various faculties, which added a distinctive dialogic atmosphere and high interactive spirit to the event in English.
This activity is part of a series of programs and events organized by the Faculty of Arts aimed at honing students' academic and linguistic skills, and enhancing the collaborative and creative learning environment within the university.
