Khaberni - The United States imposed new sanctions on three Iranian exchange companies on Friday, as part of targeting Washington's "funding sources" for Tehran in the war.
The US Treasury Department in a separate statement warned of the consequences of paying "fees" to the Iranian government in exchange for safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing that such steps subject the takers to sanctions.
Since the United States and Israel launched strikes on Iran at the end of February, Tehran has almost completely disrupted navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, which is one of the most important global waterways for energy transport.
