Khaberni - The Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sanctuaries has denied the truth of what was circulated by the media, regarding the launch of the first Jordanian pilgrims' caravans to the Holy Lands on the fourteenth of this month.
It stated that the ministry is the sole authority empowered to announce the dates and details of the arrangements for the pilgrimage season for Jordanian pilgrims and Arab pilgrims from 1948
The ministry emphasized that no travel agents and tourism association is involved in any of the Hajj arrangements or organizing the pilgrims' caravans, confirming that all Hajj-related procedures are carried out under direct and exclusive supervision by the ministry in coordination with the competent authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The ministry urged the media to ensure accuracy and to obtain information from its official sources, and to disregard any statements or information concerning Hajj unless officially issued by the ministry
