Khaberni - The Public Security Directorate continues implementing wide environmental oversight and awareness campaigns across the kingdom, coinciding with the increased visitation to tourist sites, natural landscapes, and picnic areas, as part of its efforts aimed at protecting the environment, preserving public sites' aesthetics, and instilling civilized and responsible behavior.
The picnic spots and natural gatherings experienced a field presence of the Royal Environmental Protection Administration and the community police, along with their various field units, where they began executing direct awareness programs among visitors and picnickers, focusing on enhancing environmental awareness and promoting a culture of community responsibility in maintaining the cleanliness of public places and preserving their natural components from pollution.
The campaigns also included distributing specialized garbage collection bags to picnickers and presenting awareness messages and instructions that urge not to leave waste at picnic sites and to deal civilly with the environment as a national heritage that must be preserved.
The Public Security Directorate affirmed that these campaigns are part of an ongoing institutional approach to enhancing the environmental protection system and field oversight, calling on citizens and visitors to cooperate and adhere to the environmental instructions and guidelines, and to actively participate in preserving the national environment.
