Haaretz Copy Paste Israel Replicates Gaza in Southern Lebanon

Khaberni  - Haaretz newspaper revealed that the Israeli army's operations in southern Lebanon closely resemble its operations in the Gaza Strip in 2025, adopting a strategy of systematic destruction.

The newspaper disclosed that most of the Israeli army's activity in southern Lebanon closely mimics the movements executed by the forces in Gaza in 2025, where it relies on the systematic destruction of homes and civilian facilities.

The newspaper described these operations as a "copy and paste" of the methods used in the Gaza Strip, focusing on the systematic demolition of residential infrastructure under the pretext of eliminating Hezbollah's military infrastructure.

It pointed out that this pattern has sparked controversy within the military leadership regarding its effectiveness and its political and humanitarian repercussions in Lebanon.

In the meantime, our correspondent reported that intermittent Israeli artillery shelling targeted the Wadi al-Hujeir area and the outskirts of the towns of Froun, Al-Ghandouriyeh, Tulin, Al-Sawaneh, and Qlaouiyeh in southern Lebanon today, Friday. Our correspondent also reported Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flying over the southern suburbs of Beirut.
