"Tasnim" stated: "The sound of air defenses being activated was heard in parts of Tehran. It is not yet clear whether this was related to a defensive test or to confront what might be reconnaissance drones over Tehran." "Fars" published a similar report.
Later, the agencies indicated that the air defense was activated "to confront small aircraft and reconnaissance drones," clarifying that "the sound of air defenses stopped after 20 minutes of activation." They also reported that the situation "returned to normal."
