Khaberni - The debate renewed in the past few days about the possibility of media personality Lamis El Hadidi returning to her former husband Amr Adib, following the circulation of photos and video clips of them together at family occasions, which opened the door to speculation wide open across social media.
However, sources close to Lamis El Hadidi have put an end to these rumors, emphatically stating that what is being circulated is not true, and there are no intentions or arrangements for the resumption of the marital relationship between the two parties.
In press statements, journalist Diana El Duba, close to Lamis El Hadidi, clarified that everything raised about the couple’s return has nothing to do with the truth, emphasizing that the relationship between them has not exceeded the frame of mutual respect since the announcement of their separation.
She added that the appearances of Lamis El Hadidi and Amr Adib together at some occasions have been exaggeratedly interpreted, despite it being a natural matter in light of the family ties that still bind them, especially with children between them.
Social media platforms recently circulated shots from meetings that brought the media personalities together, which led some to believe there was an attempt to renew the relationship, but the sources confirmed that these meetings occur in a purely family context, not reflecting any personal development.
It is worth mentioning that the last public appearance of the couple was at their son Nour's wedding, where they appeared together welcoming guests, in a scene that reflected the amicable nature of the ongoing relationship despite the separation.
The marriage of Lamis El Hadidi and Amr Adib officially ended last December, after a relationship that started in 1999, forming one of the most prominent media couples in Egypt and the Arab world.
Despite the end of the marital relationship, the duo still maintains a high degree of respect and understanding, which is reflected in their joint handling of family occasions.
