Arab Bank and La Liga launch a joint Visa credit card in the presence of global football star Marcelo

Khaberni  -  Arab Bank and the Spanish Football League Association (La Liga) launched a joint Visa credit card as part of the strategic partnership agreement between the two parties, whereby Arab Bank became the official banking sponsor for La Liga in the Middle East and North Africa across several countries in the region.

 

The card launch, which is the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa, was announced during a special ceremony held by the bank at the Hyatt Amman Hotel, with the participation of the global football star and La Liga ambassador "Marcelo", in the presence of Arab Bank's management and La Liga officials, along with a selection of personalities and guests.

 

During his time in the kingdom, the global star Marcelo visited the headquarters of the Arab Bank's General Administration and participated in a special event held by the bank for this occasion, attended by the bank's Board of Directors, management team, employees, and representatives of La Liga.   

 

The Arab Bank - La Liga joint credit card, exclusively available through the Arab Bank, offers its holders from football enthusiasts a distinctive and comprehensive banking experience that combines passion for the sport with leading banking privileges. The card offers a wide range of benefits and offers such as; free access to VIP lounges at airports around the world, exclusive offers within a group of luxury hotels, flexible payment options, and comprehensive digital management via the bank's app, along with a collection of other benefits. 

 

The launch of the joint credit card embodies the strategic cooperation between the two parties and confirms Arab Bank's interest in showcasing its presence in the sports arena locally and regionally through football, the world's most popular sport, which reflects the shared values upon which this cooperation is based, including building connections and innovation, and the ongoing pursuit to provide exclusive experiences, enriching the passion of fans and affirming Arab Bank's leading position in the region.

 

The Arab Bank's interest in football is also reflected through its partnership and continuous support for the Jordan Football Association for about 15 years, as it is the main sponsor for the Jordan National Football Team (Al-Nashama), which recently achieved a historic milestone by qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
