The incident began with behavior described as "inappropriate" towards the photographers and journalists present to cover the mourning, which was considered by the attendees as a departure from the customs followed in such sad occasions that impose a kind of discipline and mutual respect.
In an unexpected escalation, all the photographers present at the scene of the mourning collectively decided to withdraw from the location, expressing their objection to the artist's manner, affirming that what happened represented an insult to their profession and was not compatible with the sanctity of death and the mournful atmosphere that pervaded the place.
A source within the syndicate confirmed that the incident is currently under review and discussion with the syndicate head Mustafa Kamel.
