Khaberni - The Irbid Chamber of Industry, in collaboration with the Enhancing Green Activities in Industrial Facilities (GAIN) – GIZ, launched specialized studies aimed at evaluating and promoting the readiness of factories to accommodate people with disabilities, in the context of supporting inclusive integration practices in the industrial sector.
According to a statement from the chamber on Wednesday, these studies focus on improving accessibility within the work environment, aligning working conditions, and enhancing policies that support the integration of people with disabilities, contributing to creating more inclusive, fair, and sustainable work environments.
The chamber pointed out that the study includes conducting field visits and evaluations within the factories, along with organizing activities to build the capacities of factory managements and their staff, with the goal of enabling them to effectively implement inclusive practices.
