Trump Iran must surrender now

Khaberni - The U.S. President, Donald Trump, has escalated his rhetoric towards Iran, emphasizing that "the Iranian economy is collapsing and its value has become worthless", and that Tehran "will not possess a nuclear weapon", and demanding Tehran to "surrender now", following a phone call with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, discussing developments in Iran and Ukraine.

Trump said in a press conference that Putin "does not want Iran to possess a nuclear weapon", and that he is ready to assist in this matter, indicating a rare convergence of positions between Washington and Moscow regarding the Iranian nuclear issue.

The U.S. President added that his country "has destroyed over 80% of Iran's missile capabilities", stating that "our situation in Iran is very good", as he expressed, and also mentioned the presence of "159 Iranian ships at the bottom of the sea", in statements that reflect a clear escalation in American rhetoric.
