Khaberni - The former Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Jawad Al-Anani, confirmed that Jordan is the most successful country in crisis management in light of the conditions, changes, and conflicts the region is witnessing.
Al-Anani, in a lecture titled: "Determinants of the Arab Future in the Face of Current International Conflicts," delivered this Wednesday evening at the Arab Thought Forum in Amman, noted that Jordan is witnessing attempts at economic and administrative reform despite the surrounding regional conditions.
During the lecture, which was moderated by Professor Raad Al-Tal from the University of Jordan, Al-Anani discussed the internal situation in several Arab countries, pointing to the social and economic challenges they face amid ongoing conflicts.
He said, "We in the Arab region are living under pressure, but it will lead us to a brighter state."
In his lecture, he reviewed the international situation since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 and the current global political and economic landscape, pointing to the importance of oil in the future of the world.
He also emphasized the role and importance of straits and maritime passages in the global economy, pointing out that most of these straits are overseen by Arab countries.
The lecture, which was introduced by a representative from the forum, Dr. Amani Jarar, began with the note that the world around us is not only rearranging its priorities but also reshaping its rules, as the balance of power changes, alliances are no longer fixed, and conflicts are no longer limited to traditional geography but extend to economics, technology, and energy.
At the end of the lecture, there was an extensive discussion with the audience.
