Khaberni - Brent crude barrel price rose on Wednesday to more than $119, reaching the highest level since early 2022, increasing the severity of the economic consequences of the war in the Middle East.
By 17:15 GMT, Brent futures had risen by 7.6% to $119.69, the highest level since the early days of the war in Ukraine in 2022. Oil prices have surged since the US-Israeli war pushed Iran to close the Strait of Hormuz.
