Khaberni - The Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts launches its 40th edition on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, under the royal patronage.
Omar Al-Abdallat, "the Voice of Jordan," will headline the opening night as the star of the event, in a celebratory night that reflects the festival's ancient heritage and Jordan's cultural standing. Al-Abdallat is preparing to perform a selection of his new works alongside a collection of his most famous songs that have broadened his presence in the Arab world.
Al-Abdallat returns to the Jerash stage for the 16th time, reinforcing his position as the most frequent Jordanian and Arab artist in the festival's history, and the biggest draw for the audience.
The choice of Al-Abdallat to revive the opening ceremony by the festival’s management is an acknowledgment of his great artistic status and his prominent role in enhancing the Jordanian song's presence regionally and globally, as he has taken upon himself the task of developing it and promoting it throughout his prolific artistic career.
