Security and Crisis Management issues warnings to vacationers during the holiday

Khaberni - The National Center for Security and Crisis Management issued, on Wednesday, warnings and guidelines for citizens regarding trips and picnics during the Labor Day holiday on Thursday and the weekend holiday on Friday and Saturday.

The Center called for not igniting fires in forest areas or areas with dry grass, and for not leaving barbecue fire remains burning upon leaving picnic spots, while stressing the importance of properly disposing of them.

It also warned against throwing cigarette butts at the edges of roads or while picnicking in forests, and from keeping flammable materials inside vehicles.

The Center emphasized the importance of not swimming in agricultural ponds and dams to avoid the risk of drowning, and keeping a fire extinguisher inside the vehicle for use in emergencies.

It stressed the importance of keeping touristic sites and picnic areas clean and not leaving trash behind, urging to call the unified emergency number 911 when needed.
