Khaberni - The Ministry of Public Works and Housing has completed the maintenance project part of Umm Al-Basateen road in the capital governorate, covering 1 kilometer.
The project included scraping the old asphalt mix layer, implementing a new improved polymer asphalt mix layer, installing ground reflectors, and painting, under direct technical supervision from the Public Works Office of Naour District, affiliated with the Capital Works Directorate.
The ministry had started the project in mid-March last year and completed it within the specified contractual period.
These projects are part of the ministry's periodic plans to rehabilitate roads and ensure the sustainability of infrastructure and secure safe transport for citizens by enhancing the efficiency of the road network in the governorate and promoting traffic safety standards on them, as a continuation of the ministry's annual program for developing vital roads.
These projects are funded by the budget of the Capital Governorate Council (decentralization).
