Highway Patrols Urge Drivers to Abide by Traffic Rules During the Holiday

Khaberni - The operations officer of the Highway Patrols, Captain Ziyad Al-Sharman, confirmed that since the early morning hours, patrols have been distributed on various external roads within their jurisdictions, aiming for field detection and the removal of any obstacles that might affect the flow of traffic.

Al-Sharman explained to "Al-Mamlaka" that all external roads are passable and witness normal traffic movement without recording any notes affecting the flow of vehicles.

Regarding traffic reports, the Highway Patrols management dealt with three traffic accidents within their jurisdictions in the past 24 hours, resulting in 5 injuries ranging from moderate to minor.

In detail, the first accident occurred in Ghor Al-Mazra'a area as a result of a collision between two vehicles, resulting in one moderate injury, while the second accident occurred in Zarqa governorate resulting from the collision of two vehicles, leading to two injuries.

The third accident involved the overturning of a vehicle on the Irbid – Amman road, resulting in two injuries.

The Highway Patrols urged drivers to comply with traffic laws in conjunction with the weekend holiday, and to avoid dangerous violations to maintain public safety.
