Khaberni - U.S. President Donald Trump will appear on new passports to be issued for the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the United States in July, according to a State Department spokesperson on Tuesday.
State Department spokesperson Tommy Bigot stated on platform X that "as the United States celebrates its 250th founding anniversary in July, the department is preparing to issue a limited number of specially designed American passports to commemorate this historic occasion."
Bigot reposted an article from "Fox News Digital" showing the new model which includes an internal page featuring Trump’s image with his signature in gold, alongside an image of the founding fathers on the Declaration of Independence Day, July 4, 1776.
A commemorative gold coin featuring Trump's image will also be issued for this occasion.
Since his return to power, Trump’s name has been placed on several buildings in the capital, including the famous Kennedy Center Hall and the Peace Institute.
Trump also plans to organize an "Indy Car" race in Washington between August 21 and 23 as part of the 250th-anniversary celebrations.
A State Department official, requesting anonymity, clarified that these passports will only be issued in Washington and will be available in limited quantities only.
