Khaberni - The U.S. Treasury Department stated that it has imposed new sanctions related to Iran.
It added that it has imposed sanctions on 33 entities and individuals in Iran for their assistance in evading sanctions, according to statements.
It continued, "The funds provided by these entities and individuals supported Iran's terrorist operations".
The U.S. Treasury Department warned any party paying money to Iran for passage through the Strait of Hormuz, stating that they "will face severe sanctions".
