Port Said Bride Shocking Surprises in the Death of an Egyptian Girl

Khaberni - The case of the death of the Egyptian girl in her fiancé's house under mysterious circumstances in Port Said Province, known in the media as "Port Said Bride", has revealed shocking surprises about the circumstances of death that shook public opinion in Egypt.

The forensic doctor, today Monday, while appearing before the Port Said Criminal Court, confirmed the presence of blood effusions in the back of the girl, Fatima Yasser Khalil's head, explaining that these injuries may have resulted from being hit with a sharp object or as a result of collision with the ground.

The incident dates back to February 2026, when the victim, who was 16 years old at the time, was found dead inside the house of her fiancé’s family while she was there to have breakfast.

The forensic doctor, during his testimony in the second session of the trial of the accused of ending the victim's life, clarified that the primary cause of death was strangulation as a result of using a headscarf "shawl", according to the forensic report sent to the investigative authorities.

The Port Said Criminal Court had decided in the session of March 30, 2026, to summon the forensic doctor and several witnesses of evidence in the case, including the fiancé of the deceased "Mahmoud," to listen to their statements regarding the circumstances of the incident.

The accused, the wife of the fiancé’s brother, admitted during the investigations to committing the incident, indicating that a dispute had arisen between her and the victim over a residential unit, which quickly escalated into a quarrel that ended with her death.

The court continues to consider the case during the upcoming sessions, following the hearing of the rest of the witnesses and discussing the technical evidence.
