Khaberni - The Israeli military announced on Sunday that four of its soldiers had been injured in an incident described by military sources as "operational" inside a military base located in the south of the occupied territories.
Initial reports indicated that one of the soldiers was seriously wounded, while the injuries of the other three ranged from moderate to minor.
Medical teams rushed immediately to the scene to provide first aid, before transferring the injured to hospitals for necessary treatment.
However, the army spokesman refrained from disclosing details about the nature of the incident or the circumstances that led to its occurrence, merely announcing the opening of an urgent investigation to reveal the circumstances.
This development comes at a time when the Israeli military is experiencing a noticeable increase in the rate of human losses on multiple fronts, particularly in southern Lebanon, where forces continue their field operations despite the declared official truce.
The recent weeks have recorded a series of incidents and artillery attacks that resulted in the deaths of two soldiers and injuries to others, while municipalities in northern occupied Palestine have warned residents of the risks of explosions and gunfire near the front lines.
