Khaberni - The Anti-Narcotics Administration, in coordination with the General Directorate for Drug and Mind-Affecting Substances Affairs in the Republic of Iraq, thwarted the attempt to smuggle huge shipments of narcotics through a series of qualitative operations carried out in the provinces of Rural Damascus and Homs, aimed at dismantling an international smuggling network with regional extensions.
The operations resulted in the seizure of 1,730,000 pills of the drug Captagon, which were prepared for smuggling to a neighboring country, and the arrest of 8 members of the network, including one woman.
The Anti-Narcotics Administration continues its qualitative operations in coordination with regional partners, aiming to pursue drug smuggling networks and intensify the necessary measures to prevent the infiltration of these poisons and curb their spread.
